WANT TO KNOW MORE ABOUT WOMEN IN COFFEE FARMING?

About us

Las Manos Coffee Farm was established in 1940 by Mr. Francisco José Albir, a famous traveler & writer from Ocotal, Nicaragua. He married in Honduras, making it his new home country. His brother, Esteban Albir, who was a coffee grower, gave his brother the small coffee farm in the border between Honduras and Nicaragua in order to keep the family united. The challenges of the Nicaraguan Revolution in the 1980’es and the death of Mr. Francisco José Albir in year 1975, left his son Mr. Sergio Garibaldi with a farm in crisis and no news from the family from Nicaragua.
